Our stock
We have around 40 breeding sows on the farm, the largest herd of Tamworth pigs in the country. Our first two sows, Rebecca and Amy were named after friends and surprisingly it proved so popular that all our sows are now named after friends and family. Each sow has a very individual personality and we know each by name.
Our senior boar, Viktor – named after Jon’s Italian ‘father in-law’, is a busy boy keeping them all in-pig, but we think he has a pretty good life. There are too many sows for him to handle, so Romeo, our young boar, helps him out. All our porkers are bred on-farm and we can guarantee full traceability.
